Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
Effective Date: June 6, 2026
Last Updated: June 6, 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to purchases made through americanindustrialpartsgroup.com. By placing an order with American Industrial Parts Group, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
1. Order Processing
Orders are generally processed and shipped within one business day after payment has been received and successfully verified.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and other days on which shipping carriers are not operating normally.
Orders received after our daily shipping cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays will be treated as received on the following business day.
Processing may be delayed when:
-
Payment requires additional verification;
-
The shipping address is incomplete or cannot be verified;
-
The order contains unusually large, heavy, fragile, or specialized equipment;
-
Freight arrangements are required;
-
Additional information is needed from the customer;
-
The order is subject to fraud, export-control, or regulatory review; or
-
Events outside our reasonable control interrupt normal business operations.
If we cannot ship an order within the stated processing period, we may contact the customer with an updated estimated shipping date and available options.
2. Shipping Carriers
American Industrial Parts Group may ship orders using carriers such as:
-
UPS;
-
United States Postal Service;
-
FedEx;
-
Regional delivery services;
-
Less-than-truckload freight carriers; or
-
Other appropriate transportation providers.
The carrier used for a particular order may depend on the shipment’s weight, dimensions, value, destination, service availability, and selected shipping method.
We reserve the right to select or change the shipping carrier when reasonably necessary, provided the substituted service is substantially comparable to the service purchased.
3. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated or displayed during checkout unless the product listing states that shipping is included in the purchase price.
Shipping charges may be based on:
-
Package weight and dimensions;
-
Shipping destination;
-
Carrier service level;
-
Residential or commercial delivery status;
-
Delivery-area surcharges;
-
Signature requirements;
-
Declared value or insurance;
-
Hazardous-material handling, when applicable;
-
Freight, liftgate, or limited-access services; and
-
Other carrier-imposed fees.
Any additional service requested after an order is placed may result in additional charges.
4. Shipping Estimates
Any transit time or delivery date displayed at checkout or provided by American Industrial Parts Group is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date, unless an express written guarantee is specifically provided.
Estimated transit times generally begin when the carrier accepts and scans the shipment, not when the order is placed.
Delivery may be delayed by weather, natural disasters, carrier disruptions, transportation congestion, labor disputes, holidays, customs processing, security inspections, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
American Industrial Parts Group is not responsible for carrier delays after a shipment has been transferred to the carrier. However, we will reasonably assist customers in obtaining tracking information and pursuing eligible carrier investigations or claims.
5. Tracking Information
Tracking information will ordinarily be provided after the order has been prepared for shipment.
A tracking number may become active only after the carrier receives or scans the package. Carrier tracking systems may take time to update.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and making appropriate arrangements to receive the shipment.
6. Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout, including any required:
-
Company name;
-
Suite or unit number;
-
Building number;
-
Department;
-
Attention line;
-
Postal code;
-
Telephone number; and
-
Freight-delivery instructions.
American Industrial Parts Group is not responsible for delays, losses, additional charges, or delivery failures caused by an incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable address supplied by the customer.
Customers should contact us immediately at support@americanindustrialpartsgroup.com if an address correction is required.
We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been processed or shipped. Address corrections requested after shipment may be subject to carrier fees or may not be permitted.
For fraud-prevention purposes, we may decline to redirect a shipment to an address that differs from the address provided or verified at checkout.
7. Signature Requirements
A signature may be required for shipments based on:
-
Order value;
-
Product type;
-
Delivery location;
-
Carrier requirements;
-
Fraud-prevention considerations; or
-
Our reasonable determination that signature confirmation is appropriate.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that an authorized person is available to accept and sign for the shipment.
A carrier’s unsuccessful delivery attempt, refusal to sign, or failure to retrieve a shipment held for pickup does not automatically qualify the order for a refund.
8. Delivery Confirmation
A shipment is considered delivered when the carrier’s tracking record shows delivery to the shipping address, authorized recipient, designated pickup location, parcel locker, mailroom, reception area, or other location accepted by the carrier.
Customers should inspect the delivery location, check with household members, employees, reception personnel, property managers, neighbors, and the carrier before reporting a shipment as missing.
If tracking shows delivery but the package cannot be located, contact us promptly at support@americanindustrialpartsgroup.com.
We may require the customer to cooperate with a carrier investigation, provide a written statement, confirm delivery details, or file a theft or police report when appropriate.
9. Lost or Delayed Shipments
A shipment is not considered lost merely because it arrives later than the carrier’s estimated delivery date.
When a package appears to be delayed or lost, American Industrial Parts Group may initiate or assist with a carrier trace, missing-mail search, or shipping claim.
Customers must provide requested information and cooperate with the investigation. A refund or replacement will not necessarily be issued while a carrier investigation remains open.
Any refund or replacement for a lost shipment is subject to:
-
Confirmation that the shipment was not delivered;
-
Carrier investigation results;
-
Applicable insurance coverage;
-
Product availability;
-
Fraud-prevention review; and
-
Applicable law.
American Industrial Parts Group is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
10. Damaged Shipments
Customers should inspect all packages and products promptly after delivery.
Visible external damage should be noted with the carrier at the time of delivery whenever possible. Freight shipments with substantial visible damage should not be accepted without documenting the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt.
Damage must be reported to American Industrial Parts Group as soon as reasonably possible at:
support@americanindustrialpartsgroup.com
The customer may be required to provide:
-
The order number;
-
The tracking number;
-
Photographs of the outer packaging;
-
Photographs of shipping labels;
-
Photographs of all internal packaging materials;
-
Photographs or video showing the product damage;
-
A description of the damage; and
-
Any carrier delivery documents.
The customer must retain the product, original shipping carton, labels, cushioning, pallets, crates, and all other packaging materials until the claim has been resolved.
Discarding packaging, modifying the product, attempting repairs, installing the product, or returning the product without authorization may prevent or reduce recovery under a carrier claim.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, repair arrangement, partial refund, full refund, or another appropriate resolution.
11. Shipping Insurance and Carrier Claims
Some shipping services include limited carrier liability or insurance, while others may require additional coverage.
The existence of carrier insurance does not guarantee that a claim will be approved. Claims are subject to carrier rules, documentation requirements, exclusions, filing deadlines, and investigation procedures.
American Industrial Parts Group may file and manage a carrier claim as the shipper. Customers must provide all requested evidence and preserve the shipment and packaging while the claim is pending.
Any payment, replacement, or refund associated with a shipping claim may be limited to the amount approved by the carrier or otherwise required by applicable law.
12. Refused and Undeliverable Shipments
Shipments that are refused, unclaimed, returned to sender, or determined to be undeliverable may be treated as an unauthorized return unless the refusal was approved in advance by American Industrial Parts Group.
If a shipment is returned because of:
-
An incorrect or incomplete address;
-
Refusal by the recipient;
-
Failure to accept delivery;
-
Failure to retrieve a held package;
-
Unpaid customs duties or taxes;
-
An unavailable delivery location; or
-
Another circumstance attributable to the customer,
the customer may be responsible for original shipping charges, return shipping charges, carrier fees, customs charges, storage charges, and any other nonrecoverable expenses.
Any approved refund will be reduced by applicable shipping and handling expenses to the extent permitted by law.
13. Multiple and Partial Shipments
An order may be divided into multiple packages or shipments.
Packages from the same order may arrive on different dates and may have separate tracking numbers.
When only part of an order is immediately available, we may ship the available items separately or contact the customer regarding available options.
Additional shipping charges will not be imposed for a split shipment initiated solely by American Industrial Parts Group unless the customer approves those charges in advance.
14. Freight Shipments
Large, heavy, oversized, palletized, or unusually fragile items may require freight shipping.
Freight charges may not include:
-
Liftgate service;
-
Inside delivery;
-
Residential delivery;
-
Limited-access delivery;
-
Appointment delivery;
-
Construction-site delivery;
-
Removal from a pallet or crate;
-
Unpacking;
-
Installation; or
-
Disposal of packaging materials.
The customer is responsible for confirming whether the delivery location has a loading dock, forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment necessary to unload the shipment.
Additional carrier fees arising from inaccurate delivery information, unavailable unloading equipment, missed appointments, redelivery, storage, residential service, or limited-access service may be charged to the customer.
Before signing a freight delivery receipt, the customer must inspect the shipment for visible damage, shortages, punctures, crushed packaging, broken pallets, or evidence of mishandling.
Any visible damage or shortage must be described clearly on the delivery receipt. Signing a delivery receipt without noting visible damage may affect the ability to recover compensation from the freight carrier.
15. Domestic Shipping
We ship to eligible addresses within the United States where the selected product and carrier service are available.
Certain products may not be eligible for delivery to:
-
Alaska;
-
Hawaii;
-
Puerto Rico;
-
U.S. territories;
-
APO, FPO, or DPO addresses;
-
Post office boxes; or
-
Other locations subject to carrier or regulatory restrictions.
Additional transit time and shipping charges may apply to noncontiguous states, territories, military addresses, remote areas, and limited-access locations.
16. International Shipping
International shipping may be offered for certain products and destinations at our discretion.
International customers are responsible for determining whether a product may be lawfully imported, possessed, installed, operated, or resold in the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the customer is responsible for:
-
Import duties;
-
Customs charges;
-
Brokerage fees;
-
Value-added taxes;
-
Goods and services taxes;
-
Tariffs;
-
Inspection charges;
-
Local handling fees;
-
Import licenses;
-
Permits; and
-
Other governmental or carrier charges.
These charges are not included in the product price or standard shipping charge unless expressly stated.
We will not falsify product descriptions, values, tariff classifications, country of origin, or customs documentation.
International shipments may be delayed, inspected, detained, returned, or seized by customs or other governmental authorities. American Industrial Parts Group is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or for a customer’s failure to satisfy import requirements.
If an international shipment is refused, abandoned, returned, or destroyed because the customer fails to pay duties, complete customs procedures, obtain required authorization, or accept delivery, the customer may be responsible for all resulting costs.
17. Export Restrictions
Products and technical information may be subject to United States export-control, sanctions, customs, and trade laws.
American Industrial Parts Group reserves the right to delay, decline, or cancel any shipment that may involve:
-
A restricted country or destination;
-
A prohibited end user;
-
A prohibited end use;
-
Incomplete or suspicious transaction information;
-
A denied or restricted party;
-
A required export license; or
-
Any other actual or potential legal restriction.
Customers may be required to provide end-use, end-user, destination, or other compliance information before an order is shipped.
18. Order Changes and Cancellations
Requests to change or cancel an order must be submitted promptly to:
support@americanindustrialpartsgroup.com
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a requested change or cancellation, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be modified or canceled after processing has begun.
An order cannot ordinarily be canceled after it has been transferred to the shipping carrier. The customer may instead be required to follow the applicable return procedure.
19. Events Outside Our Control
American Industrial Parts Group is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including:
-
Severe weather;
-
Natural disasters;
-
Fire;
-
Flood;
-
War;
-
Terrorism;
-
Civil unrest;
-
Government action;
-
Public-health emergencies;
-
Carrier interruptions;
-
Transportation shutdowns;
-
Labor disputes;
-
Power or communications failures;
-
Cybersecurity incidents; or
-
Supply-chain disruptions.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers and fulfill or resolve orders as circumstances permit.
20. Relationship to Other Policies
This Shipping Policy should be read together with our:
-
Legal Notice;
-
Terms and Conditions;
-
Return and Refund Policy; and
-
Privacy Policy.
If a product listing or written sales agreement contains shipping terms that conflict with this policy, the more specific terms applicable to that transaction will control.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
21. Policy Changes
American Industrial Parts Group may revise this Shipping Policy periodically.
Changes become effective when the revised policy is posted on the website unless a later effective date is stated.
The “Last Updated” date at the top identifies the most recent revision.
