DESCRIPTION
New open box Bussmann LP-CC-2-1/2 Low-Peak time-delay Class CC fuse, rated 2-1/2 A at 600 VAC with a 200 kA interrupting rating, and 300 VDC with a 20 kA interrupting rating as marked on the label. The label reads "Bussmann Low-Peak Ultimate Protection, Time-Delay Class CC Fuse, LP-CC-2-1/2," with UL Listed and CSA marks, "Assembled in Mexico," and code G46. The fuse has not been installed. The label shows light staining and wear, and the end caps have light storage marks, as pictured.
The LP-CC is Bussmann's Low-Peak Class CC time-delay fuse. It holds 200% of its rating for at least 12 seconds, so control transformer inrush and small-motor starting current pass without nuisance opening. The 2-1/2 A rating is a common size for control power transformer primaries and secondaries and for small motor control circuits. The Class CC rejection end fits only Class CC holders, so the wrong fuse can't be installed.
