DESCRIPTION
New open box Bussmann LPJ-2SP Low-Peak dual-element time-delay Class J fuse, rated 2 A at 600 VAC with a 300 kA interrupting rating, and 300 VDC with a 100 kA interrupting rating. The label reads "Cooper Bussmann Low-Peak Ultimate Protection, Dual-Element Time-Delay Class J Fuse, LPJ-2SP," with UL Listed, CSA Type D, CE and UKCA marks and "Eaton, St. Louis, MO." The label is clean and readable. The copper end caps show storage tarnish, as pictured.

The LPJ-SP is Bussmann's Low-Peak Class J time-delay fuse. It holds 500% of its rating for at least 10 seconds, so motor inrush and transformer magnetizing current pass without nuisance opening. Its current-limiting design gives a high level of protection for motor branch circuits, control transformers, feeders and panelboards. The Class J dimensions reject other fuse classes, so the wrong fuse can't be installed.

Compatibility:
Direct replacement for Bussmann LPJ-2SP and the earlier LPJ-2S. It fits 30 A Class J fuse holders and blocks, such as Bussmann JM60030 series and CH30J modular holders, and Class J disconnect switches. Equivalent Class J time-delay 2 A fuses include Mersen AJT2 and Littelfuse JTD002. The indicating version is the LPJ-2SPI. Confirm amperage and characteristics against your equipment before substituting.
