DESCRIPTION
Used Opto 22 G4IAC5 G4 Series digital AC input module, rated 120 VAC input with 5 volt logic. The front reads "G4 IAC5, Input 120 VAC, 5 Volt Logic, Opto 22," with UL Recognized and CSA marks. The back carries a factory stamp reading "200% TESTED 1292 1730." The hold-down screw, status LED and pins are intact. Surface dust, light marks and minor discoloration on the yellow housing, as pictured.
The G4IAC5 detects on/off AC or DC voltage from 90 to 140 V and passes it to a 5 VDC logic system through 4000 Vrms optical isolation. Input filtering and a hysteresis amplifier give a clean logic signal from noisy field voltages. Use it to monitor push buttons, limit switches, motor starter auxiliary contacts and other 120 VAC devices. The module plugs into Opto 22 G4 I/O mounting racks.
